Stanislav Kopriva is a Professor in Plant Biochemistry at the Institute for Plant Sciences and a deputy speaker of CEPLAS. He uses a combination of biochemical, genetic and physiological approaches to dissect the molecular mechanisms of regulation of plant mineral nutrition, with the focus on sulfur and with the aim to improve the nutrient use efficiency and nutritional quality of crop plants.
